We explored the “7 Ways to Wonders,” which focused on the blessings God has given us and how to translate those blessings into our everyday lives.
Genesis 12:1-2 The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.
In the New Testament, this same blessing God gave to Abraham has been extended to us by Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:9 certifies that “…those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.”
Ephesians 1:3 reminds us, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
As believers, we are already blessed under the new covenant. A believer is not someone seeking blessings but someone who is already blessed. It’s important to realize that seeking blessings should not be our focus; instead, we should understand that we are already blessed. This blessing is the divine ability for all-round success and prosperity.
Many are blessed but not a blessing to others. The blessings we have received start in the spiritual realm and manifest in our physical lives. God desires us to excel in the following areas of our lives: health, wealth, family, ministry, career, finance and relationships.
1 Timothy 6:17 encourages us not to trust in uncertain riches but in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Our spiritual blessings need to translate into our daily realities.
Seven Steps to Wonders
1. Activation: Activation means making something active that is already there. 2 Kings 3:15 shows the power of worship in activating our blessings. Ephesians 5:18 urges us to be filled with the Spirit.
2. Meditation: Meditation helps convert spiritual blessings into daily experiences. Just like food is digested and used by our bodies, meditation allows God’s Word to be digested and transform our lives. Ephesians 3:26 and Philippians 4:8 emphasize the importance of meditating on God’s Word to change our lives.
3. Revelation: Revelation is God revealing things to us. Ezekiel 37:7 and John 5:19 illustrate the power of acting on what God reveals. Speaking what we have heard from God can bring life and change.
4. Declaration: Declaration involves speaking out what God has revealed. God created the world by His word, and we are to follow His example. Isaiah 55:11 and Genesis 1:26 show the power of declaring God’s words. Using the story of Esther, we see how declarations can change outcomes. Esther’s bold declaration and action led to the salvation of her people (Esther 4:15-16, Esther 5:6).
5. Impartation: Impartation means to give, bestow, or convey something spiritually. Romans 1:11 and Acts 3:6 show the power of impartation. Some things are taught, but some are caught through spiritual impartation.
6. Association: The company we keep influences us significantly. Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” God brings people into our lives to help us reach the next level, so we must discern and embrace these relationships. Eve’s interaction with the serpent in Genesis illustrates the impact of wrong associations. On the other hand, right associations can propel us to greatness.
7. Actions: Taking action is crucial. James 1:25 emphasizes that we must not only hear the Word but also do it. Action is often the missing link between revelation and manifestation. We must master our craft and put in the work to excel in any field. God blesses our efforts, but we must take the necessary steps.
In conclusion, to experience the fullness of God’s blessings, we need to activate, meditate, receive revelation, declare, impart, associate wisely, and take action. In these wonder ways, spiritual blessings translate into physical realities, ensuring all-around success with a ripple effect of blessing lives.
